Dear business partner,

The COVID-19 crisis is increasing the pressure on national and international transportation of food packaging materials. BFG Packaging is doing everything to keep its production and transports moving for you at the usual service level. As a result, we keep the departure frequencies as high as possible to provide reliable and efficient shipments.

With precautionary measures in place, we are aiming to maintain full operability for all BFG Packaging operations. In our offices, we have taken action to enable as many employees as possible to work from home to help instill the social distancing guidelines put in place by public authorities or the government in many countries. Our first priority is the health of our employees and partners.

We are pleased to announce to you that the European Commission (EC) agreed with packaging associations across Europe that green lanes should remain open for food packaging delivery. Please click on the highlighted expression for more details about this measure.
To be more precise, the EC is now urging EU countries to allow vehicles to transport goods between countries via these fast-track lanes, which should take no longer than 15 minutes to pass through the customs, including checks and health screenings of drivers.

We adhere to the recommendations of health experts, especially World Health Organization (WHO), related to, for example, hygiene precautions.

We will continue to regularly update this advisory as the situation develops.

Thank you for your patience and support,

BFG Packaging Team
