With an eye looking at the changing and restrictive legislative environment regarding the diminished use of plastic and the other one at how to become more competitive on the market, BFG has now completed testing the machines and commissioned all equipment at its new production unit for products made from renewable resources.
Having completed this step, the company is now in the last stage of the first phase of factory development. The new unit of approximately 10000 sqm will function alongside BFG Packaging first-built factory in the same location and will only use internationally certified wood fiber as raw material.
As the demand for this type of product is very high, the production capacity of the equipment turned on in the first development phase is almost sold out. BFG Packaging is now working on the second phase of development of the new production unit. In the second phase, which is expected to be ready in early 2023, production capacity will triple.
